What we collect

When you request an appointment, we may collect your name, email, phone, service type, preferred time, location (for mobile visits), pricing selections, optional notes, and any files you choose to upload (such as PDFs related to your signing).

How we use it

We use this information only to respond to your request, schedule and perform notarial services, calculate fees, and communicate with you about your appointment. We do not sell your personal information.

Security & infrastructure

Our website and application are hosted on modern cloud infrastructure with industry-standard protections, including:

• Encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) — data in transit between your browser and our site is encrypted.
• Cloudflare — DNS, security, and performance services help protect the public site and reduce abuse.
• Private object storage — uploaded documents are stored in private, access-controlled storage (compatible with secure cloud object storage such as Cloudflare R2 or AWS S3), not on public web pages.
• Managed database — appointment records are stored in a secured PostgreSQL database (hosted providers such as Neon) with access limited to our application.
• Admin access controls — only authorized staff can view appointment details and generate time-limited download links for documents.

Document retention

Uploaded files may contain sensitive personal or financial information. Files are automatically deleted from secure storage within 30 days after upload, unless a longer period is required by law or you request earlier deletion. Basic appointment details may be kept longer for business and notary journal requirements.

Service providers

We use trusted third-party services to operate the business—for example hosting, email delivery (such as Resend), address verification (Google Maps, when enabled), and scheduling tools as we add them. Those providers process data only as needed to perform their service.
